GE@R is a fun and innovative  learning environment that allows children to grow and explore as they are being prepared to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond! Incorporating movement and play and a strong social interaction experience, children become well equipped to move into the structure of public or private school. Learning confidence and cooperation with their teachers and their peers builds character traits that will last all their lives. As teachers, we are dedicated to creating a warm and creative environment that is rich in both mental and physical stimulation.

We believe that children learn best by doing, so we provide a variety of hands on experiences in many creative areas including literacy, math, science, music and the Bible. We believe that children learn as they explore their world. Play is essential to learning social skills and to learn more about themselves and others. Children are learning and growing rapidly and play helps them make sense of their ever changing world. We believe that a fun and rewarding preschool experience is valuable as this is one of their first encounters with school. We want to capture your child’s excitement to explore and grow by creating a safe, caring environment that will help children love to learn and learn to love throughout their lives.

The Director of GE@R Preschool is Kristy Lenz. Kristy is a retired teacher, who taught in Warren County Public Schools for 31 years. Kristy is married and has three grown sons, Taylor, Chase and Madison. Warren County and its youth are very important to her family!  Her husband Dan is the Parks and Recreation Director for Warren County. Her sons Taylor and Chase work in Warren County.  Her youngest son, Madison is serving our country in the Navy.  She is a member of Riverton Church and enjoys singing and helping with Children’s Ministry.

Ashley Campbell is one of our Preschool Teachers. Ashley Campbell has been teaching at GE@R Preschool since 2020. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education as well as multiple years of experience working in classrooms of all different ages. She has gained experience in behavior management and special education while working as an instructional assistant at a residential treatment facility for children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband (Randall) and children (Macy and Carson), as well as crafting. It is truly her passion to be teaching children during these formative years of their lives and to be able to watch them learn and grow as they explore new things every day.

Audrey Koch is our new preschool teacher.

Audrey Koch has been a member of Riverton Church since 2007 and has been teaching the children of Riverton since 2016. Between the preschool class, children's class, and tween's class, she found that she enjoys the preschool class the most. Audrey serves as a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 118. Most recently Audrey has been a stay-at-home mom to her two sons, Liam and Logan. She enjoys spending time with them and her husband, Ryan. Her hobbies include baking, building Lego sets, and taking family hikes.
